It seems like flks in NC are getting bit by reef sharks. That is odd. Stay out of murky water is what I'd do, but that's just me.

I saw one of those "experts" on one of the news channels this morning. ("Expert commentators" seem to be the big thing these days) His advice? Swim in swimming pools! I kid you not.

We spent last week at Topsail, all the water within70-80 yards of the beach is murky. The bite at Surf City was 12 miles from us. I played with the kids in the water all week but will admit to staying in shallower water than in past years.

Sharks inhabit waters where crappie do not exist. Thus, they have nothing to fear from me.
