At Christmas you lament about how 'liberals ruined Christmas' and get all huffy and say people don't let you say Merry Christmas when NOBODY HAS EVER been forced to say Happy Holidays EVER. But it never fails that somebody will piss and moan like they're Anne Fucking Frank. And then there's the bitching about MLK day and now on the 4th we've suddenly lost our freedom because the mean old supreme court made a decision you don't like. Puleeeeze, you bunch of babies.
Here's when freedom will get taken away. It'll get taken away when the country loses its balance of power because some bunch of yahoos who have no mandate to do so decides to have recall elections for justices or otherwise bullies the court into following its wishes by threatening as they have in oklahoma to recall the judges they disagree with.
If you want to celebrate freedom, just be thankful we really do have freedom and stop pretending some gay people getting married or that we actually are trying to do something about health care is making your life a misery. In other owrds, grow the fuck up.

And by the way Sunny..........this is a good example of where quoting is necessary. If a person wants to rebut something said above in a long thread, there's no way to know who he's talking to without quoting......or guessing. Just wanted to make that point so you could see what i meant, and this thread is an example of that. If 5 people are arguing with Posthole, and he comes back with a rebuttal, there's no way to know who he's rebutting unless he quotes their post. Without that, it gets too difficult to follow.

Hey!

It's the 5th (my son's birthday). Fireworks are over...........no more fireworks.

The family and I went out in our boat and watched the fireworks on the lake. I just love to watch them on the water.

Our biggest fireworks display is always at the Detroit Tiger's Stadium close to my house, but traffic to and from the parking areas is a bitch because virtually everyone in town ends up there for the show. I can sit on my pool deck or down at the lake to watch the show without having to leave home. I MUCH prefer it that way!
