Backup of site was started at 11:00 am and lasted 4.5 hours. Will run a database only backup before starting the upgrade itself but that will not cover pictures that has been uploaded after 11:00ish. Site will be back online in between 1 to 2 hours.

Sunny my phone does that with ForumRunner from time to time too. It ain't the site and it ain't GoDaddy. It's ForumRunner. Restart your phone and it fixes that.
