I'd highly recommend the movie 'Ex Machina'. Its not big on special effects like you'd expect and its more of a human drama than your typical sci fi fare. Think of Mary Shelley's original Frankenstein with a 21st century twist.

Anyways, its worth your time!

Got it on my Netflix saved-list....btw, my Netflix programming is streamed directly into my tv, now, via Dish....no more dvd shipping....and, we can watch anything on-demand, now, for only $8.99 per month....pretty good deal.

I seen it in the thee-ate-er.

I'd give it a 2 on a scale from 1-250. I thought it was boring as hell. I LIKED the story, just the adaptation to the screen was awful to me. It could have been sooooo much better.

Sorry, didn't mean to piss on your parade. Just my opinion and we know what THAT'S worth!

Now, one thing I WILL say is... Um, uhhh, that robot was pretty damn sexy :)

I'm devastated. Your approval means more to me than life itself :huh

Maybe your taste just isn't as refined as Quercus and I. After all, you have cats and are afraid of ghosts.

You probably think Jar Jar Binks is cool.

He's not? What do I know though. I'm still trying to figure out the first Matrix. My youngest is turning into a real Whovian so I've been watching some of those with him. Does that count.

Never really been a fan of scifi. Well, I was as a kid I guess ... but can't really remember when I've liked it since. Heck, I haven't even watched a complete Star Wars movie! (I assume that's science fiction?)
