... and goin' for the "big time"! I went to an estate sale today and bought an older men's Stainless & Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust in it's orig. boxes (inner & outer) with all papers, manual, etc. Had a tag for $3000 on it ... I told him he was dreaming, and worked him down. He went to $2000, but I walked away. A half hour later, on my way out the door, I offered $1500 ... we settled on $1700. I should be able to work with that. I won't get rich, but it's a nice day's work. :encouragement:

Here's a new one on-line: ('course mine ain't new)

It you will text me the serial number and allow me time to check the date of Manufacture, if it's in my date range I'll give you your price for it.
Provided it's an automatic wind. If it's a manual wind it's in the 50's.
I've got one on right now just about the brother to the one you show.
Let me know.

Actually it's an exact match to the new one I bought for Lynn years ago (except this is a man's watch of course).

It has the original receipt in the box dated Aug. 27, 1987

Actually it's not the receipt, but the appraisal from the jewler ... I'm assuming the selling jewler, not sure. I "think" the model number is 441527 ... or that may be the serial number. (?)
