Yep. That one was almost 24 pounds. Just loaded the boat and headed to Charlotte. From fishing flounder in the Pamilico first part of the week to bass at the farm yesterday to Stripers in the Saluda River today. I've put some miles under my but this week. Not to mention working at the farm 2 days and at Bass Pro one day. I need to retire again! :D

Catching a 24 pound striper would be like trying to land an otter.

I'd like to try that some day!

20 pounders are a rush, but when the 30 to 40's get on your string in river current they will make you shudder! You really feel like it's over about as soon as it starts when one of them boy hit.
You and I should meet in Knoxville and go with a guide friend of mine named Ty Mathis. I promise you will enjoy a trip with him!
Look him up on the net. His service is called "Ty one on"

What lake is in Knoxville? BKB Lake? We don't fish for no lazy land locked fish. We fish ribber fish. Strong current fighting fish. Mostly the Tennessee River is where he guides. Right below the damn. (Read COLD water) emptying into the river. Look up his Facebook page. Ty 1 On
