As usual, ALL are great ... but I really like the uniqueness of number 2 and the way you used the back-lighting, but don't know where the light came from for the front (of the subjects). Interesting pic. :thumbsup

Did you airbrush out the sweat beads?

Nice pics!

THanks!

Jimmy that 2nd pic was one I just "noticed" (despite my noticing skills on the site). They were in a sun room. I had gone to go do something else and walking back to the brides just saw them all in the room with that light. So I just told them all to come to the door and look like they're looking to get the hell out of there :)

That's the sign of a pro ... knowing a good shot when you see one! Nice work ...

You do have a knack for this stuff. Great work! My fave is the one where they're sitting on the bench facing away. Nice.

I imagine Lenster sees stuff at these events that would make your hair curl.

But he ain't spilled.

Do you find yourself keeping score on who you think will get divorced and who will make it?

According to what I just read, the odds are pretty dang close to 50/50!

About 40 to 50 percent of married couples in the United States divorce. The divorce rate for subsequent marriages is even higher.

The forth picture, the row of flowers, is absolutely amazing ! Nice work.....

Had you had any request for the new trend in wedding pictures where they take a revealing group picture of the bridemaids posterior ?

I was looking earlier at the flowers in the 3rd pic. Are those the wedding bands on that lily?

That was another "ooooo" shot that I noticed. Flowers were on the other side of the room in a big cardboard box, one look at that window and I was all over it.... then went and grabbed the rings and put them on the Calais lily for the 3rd pic.

Awww, I don't give a rat's ass anydamnway. You know how statistics are ... it all depends on who's posting them and what their agenda is.

No, I don't know, Jimbo. I DO know that folks with an agenda don't care much for facts, I got that part figured out purty well.

And I STILL don't know who got married.

Ummm, remember ... LJ is a wedding photog in his spare time. Do we EVER know who got married?

You were only gone a few days dude ... wake up! ;)

Oh. My bad. I thought Posthole originated this thread. I thought it was some of his bunch, not Len.

My fault.

The good old conservative south is where the highest divorce rates in the country are. Maybe they need a commandment or two added!

I've seen things that cannot be unseen, unsettling. I've also seen other things that can't be unseen, by choice :)

As for you other question. I can pretty much tell if it's gonna work or not. Sometimes I want to say "It's not too late, this doesn't stand a chance in hell." But I just take pictures instead :)

No but there have been a few weddings where I would have welcomed that with open arms! and eyes!

Back in my single days ... I don't remember EVER attending a wedding where I didn't get lucky. Weddings were prime hunting grounds! ;)

Ha! Reminds me of a "Thump story" ... but I'll spare youse guys. ;)

That hasn't changed Jimmy. I can see the hookups happen before the couple even knows it's on.

99% of the time, the first 15 people to the bar are going to give me the most entertainment. Funny thing about alcohol :)

Another "regular" occurrence is the attractive bridesmaid that gets hammered. As soon as one guy notices and starts to chat her up, the lionesses circle around and protect her in a very impressive way! I like it!
