Danger, i been thinking.

The Newbie thread and banter got me thinking about the site. A large percentage of us started this site cause we got kicked off AO that is pretty common knowledge. And we started this site as a hunting/fishing-outdoors place, without the "rules" that got us in trouble at AO.
I've always believed you cannot move forward if you forget where you came from. There has been talk about doing away with all forums except campfire chat. Posty has always been opposed to getting rid of the Fishing room and I believe he is correct. In fact I think we should bring back a hunting room.
It is hunting and fishing that drew us all together.
I know folks are going to say people don't visit those places. But what I've been doing for sometime is posting fish pictures/threads in the Campfire and in a week or so moving them to the fishing room. I would do the same if we had a hunting room.
Folks searching hunting and fishing might find our site but not see anything current In the fishing/hunting areas and not stick around.
If yall agree I'll try to be responsible to "move" hunting and fishing threads out of Campfire after the replies have died down a week or so after they were originally posted.
That way folks searching will find current topics of what interests them.

If the crowd likes the idea we could just get Nandy to rename the deer pictures 2014 to Hunting Room and I'll search the campfire for old hunting threads of turkey, coyote, deer, pig and bear threads and move them in there. What say the group? And on a side note. We need some more LJ fishing show to put into the fishing forum.... On second thought that might run folks off ;)

If y'all look at the conine lake picture, then look under it the link named "Home", then look under it and click the "New Posts" (very revolutionary name) you will see every New and updated post made anywhere in the board, unless that is an admin only link...
