Grenada is french but it does mean grenade. I dont know much of the history of the island so I have no idea why they named it that way.

The only Phord I've ever owned was a '75 Grenada. I always called it 'The Grenade'. Biggest piece of shit car I ever drove. Got it to a hunnerd a few times though.
