I took Lynn's car in for an oil change today and just got home. As I was sitting in the waiting room this afternoon, a set of keys fell into my lap. I turned and saw my salesman walking away from me and asked him what they were for. He pointed outside the door and said, "Take that for a ride and while you're out, stop by the hotel and show it to Lynn." That bastard knows me too well! Once that new car smell coated my nostrils, it was all over. We just got home about 30 minutes ago with a new, Toyota Avalon (Touring Sport model) loaded to the hilt. Damn, the trade-in was only 27 months old!

I HATE whatever that stinking shit is they pour into a car's interior at the factory! :(

Those models have a very interesting front grille. I think they look good blacked out on some colors.

I've toyed with blacking out one of every double bar so instead of having eight bars you'd have four.

The sixteen year old with the old 55 still exists!

Yeah LJ, I know what you mean. Mine's an '07 and it's about the longest I've ever kept a truck, but I used to rack up about 60,000/year on 'em. Now that I'm retired, I've only got 22,000 miles on this one, so I can live with it. ALL of our traveling is in the car, so I like the comfort level.

Yeah Postie, the grille looks wierd and kinda massive in pics ... but not that bad "in person". For some reason, in pics it looks like a big ol' open mouth.
