Serious question. How many guns can you sell before they arrest you for selling guns without an FFL?

And how can you be responsible for the actions of those to whom you sell them?

Seems the circunstances around his sales and large amount of sales (over a gun a week) is what did him in, not the fact that he sold the guns. When I sold all the guns a I sold in PR there was a specific process to follow that indemnify you from all this problem. I have yet to sell a gun here but I think I would get someone with an ffl included in the transaction so there is a record that I sold the gun AND the person that got the gun was legal to do so.

The article is kind of confusing to me. In OK private party sales are allowed and require no paperwork. The only thing I can think of is that some firearms require a FFL of some kind to even posses, maybe the guns he sold were of that classification.
