In reality, looking at it from a security standpoint rather than an illegal immigration view, it does make sense. I suppose a terrorist could get in easier on the northern border than they could the southern one. A lot fewer border posts, and the number one concern is that you aren't taking too many fish back across the border.

I'll third that. A wall doesn't do crap unless it's surrounded by a minefield and claymores. Obviously, the one we already have doesn't do diddly-squat.

I wasn't saying I thought it was a good idea or that it would work. I only commented that depending on if you want the wall to stop illegal crossings by migrants or if you want it as a security fence then it's a good idea to put one on both sides.
