86 and counting. We are all but done with 15 dozen bait. Maybe got enough to for another hour.

Bait? Dozen bait?

??

Yes Bait... To be clear we use LIVE bait, Herring. If we go for a full day we get 20 dozen. Today we had a short day because we were at the coast this morning and knew we would get a late start. So we only bought 15 dozen. Ended the day with 96 fish. 3 hard days of offshore fishing and jerking them reef donkeys around and then A day of killer striper fishing will whoop you ass. Guess I'll have to dove hunt tomorrow to rest... :D
It was an overcast day today with a threat of rain on the Sluda River. But yesterday they let a zillion gallons of water out of Lake Murray and it had the water very cold and colored just right. It all made for perfect conditions for striper fishing. Only had one fish on today north of 20 pounds that we had to chase, and he wrapped a tree and pulled off. But all in all the overall size were in the 10 to 15 pounds which made for some sore arms.

Ha ha ha ha! You fishin' types are all alike ... your b/s story could'a been 2 lbs. or a hunnert lbs. Glad you at least pulled a number out of the hat that some sucker "might" believe! :D

Oh bite me Rhumphead... :D
One neat thing I forgot to tell about today's fishing is when one of us would get a fish on it seemed to excite others around it. Many times we would see another big fish swimming along with the hooked fish. We could cast to the second fish and 9 times out of 10 he would hook up. Did that many times today. Several times we had 3 on at a time.

Sucks to be you. You showed me exactly where you catch those... If I could just gain access to it you would come back one day to an EMPTY fishin hole!

You got access. Bring your happy ass on down. But it's about over for this year.
