I've not seen it, but it is supposedly coming to Yazoo City, MS in October for a 5 day showing....they have asked our American Legion and Masonic Lodge for volunteers to help them with the display....I volunteered a day of my time to help out....any of you guys have any idea what the duties might entail???

No. It was here last year at UCA. Some guys went. I saw the real thing (with Bubbles) and that's the last I need to see any of it. I'm not strong guy.

Same here ... I have also been to the "real" one. I actually broke down in tears (not really like me to be honest), but I wasn't the only one there crying. That thing REALLY brings out some strong emotions from anyone who gets near it. I bought a big "picture book" of The Wall while there and every time I open it, I can feel myself getting choked up.

Congrats on the volunteer work. If it brings out even half of the emotions the real one does, you may want to have a box of tissues handy for some of the visitors.

The picture Bubbles took of me at that wall has stood in front of me, on my desk, since then. It was a cold, dreary, misty March day in Washington, which was fitting.

I swear, I could see the other side of that wall. That was what hit me. The fact that I had no business being on THIS side of that wall.......I deserved to be on the other side with those I knew were there.
