Gone tomorrow

Not that any of you particularly care, but if a bear eats me and I never come back, just thought I'd let you know. Leaving tomorrow for the farm.....assuming I can get loaded. Leaving a 'situation' here.......possibly life threatening, for sure stressful......but just going for a few days. Need to work at the farm anyway.

Gonna (probably) get an alarm system installed there next week, maybe Tuesday. I plan on leaving there Wednesday and going to camp, and wife will come home. I'll be at camp about a week, discing (no CLUE how to spell that word!) and planting. Too late, but I'm not in control. I'm the Camp Gopher and Water Carrier.

Gonna try and load up tonight and get out tomorrow after the trash runs.........

(I have NO idea why I give this detail. I should do what y'all do and say "Headed to the farm and deer camp for a week to 10 days". SO, just assume that's what I said. I ain't working with a full deck)

For what it's worth, it's spelled "disking.'....oh yeah, be careful doing that....you'll cut your toes off, if you ain't paying attention. ;)

I watch from afar........and haul seed bags.......and water.........and gatorade..........and run chainsaws, and pruners.........and spray wasps...........and work on stands..........and stuff. Every so often I run the tractor, but that's about........um..........8 feet from the actual disk.

hahaha. No, no burning. I saw a fire truck about 1/4 mile from house yesterday. Some bozo's up the road were trying to burn off all the ivy and stuff grown onto the chain link fence in their back yard. We have a burn ban. I guess it got out of control.

Heading to camp tomorrow myself. We're going to do a little work on the cabin and it's the annual youth deer hunt so I'll try and get Matt on a deer. Of course, it hasn't rained in two months and they're calling for 100% chance both Saturday and Sunday. I may have to drink some corn liquor and tell a few lies.
