The whole state is flooding. I'd say our drought is broken. We've had 10 inches so far and it's still raining. Went to the farm yesterday and never seen so much water in my life.
If any of y'all watch the weather channel and see where the water is completely over the interstate in Columbia SC, that is the bridge and river where I catch all those stripers. You can see the interstate bridge behind me in this photo so you can get some idea how much water has fallen. It's now totally over the interstate bridge and has the road shut down.

Dang! We had that going on in May here. Flood has to be the most frustrating thing in the world to watch because it usually doesn't happen all at once and its inexorable. Or seems to be. I've never lost anything to flood and I sure don't wanna.

Dang! I couldn't imagine going through something like that. Is the porch light still on at that house?

I had a lady customer at the Caddie dealer in Memphis years ago. She had been on vacation and returned home to find her house under water like that. The last time I talked to her (just before I moved to California), she was fighting her insurance company. It seems she had flood insurance, but they denied her claim. They said it was not a flood, it was "rising water"! WTF? I never did find out how it ended up. Dirty rat-bastards!

He trying to got to our boat landing to see if the shed and everything we leave down there is under water, Minnow tank, lawnmower, table etc...
I assume if the water is above the interstate right there At the landing it's all probably gone.

Sorry to see all the damage but as CD said, be safe. Floodwaters & what they can do are nothing to mess with.
