I went to the Dr Friday and got my staples out, seems to be healing well. 3 more weeks off my feet then back for another appointment. This is the procedure I had done warning it's not for the squeamish.

Glad you are getting along good. That is some serious stuff.

Ouch! I remember my doc showed me a video of part of the procedure I had done. On one hand, I gained an appreciation for surgeons and the jobs that they do ... but on the other hand, it made me feel like I was nothing more than a side of beef in a butcher shop!

I hope the remainder of your recovery goes well.

Like CD, I'll take your word on the nastiness of the video but hope you recover soon.

Glad you're mending, Trav....video sorta reminds me of de-boning a venison hindquarter. ;)
Stuff like that doesn't bother me, at all.
That Doc really looks like he knows his stuff.

I saw the first 10 seconds of that video and shut 'er down.

I hope you're up and two steppin' stat!

I know you don't want to hear it but count on a full year before you have full extension and no pain. And that's working steady at it. Derrick told me it was about a year for him, too. For me, it was like a switch flipped at twelve months and I was good. Best thing I ever did. I basically didn't have an ACL for 40 years.
