I've had to keep this a secret for quite a while. It feels great to be able to let people know about it. I'm very excited about this opportunity!!!

I love a 22-250 also, until you've experienced the kinetic shock of those it's hard to explain. However about 6 or 7 years ago I made the switch to the 243 WSSM with no regrets. I either shoot winchester black box 55gr silver tips, or Copper Creek Custom loads .

Cool beans man! Congrats!

Why no mention of your wildlife artwork? It seems that would be a kinda-sorta related detail that could be woven into the write-up.

Captain I can't be held responsible for anything I say or do before 10:00am. It takes me that long to shake the cobwebs out of my head each morning.

HH, there are a few perks. I do get some discounts on all FoxPro products and some discounts from their sponsors as well. This weekend the World Coyote Calling Championship is going on and many of my peers are participating. I'm not much on coyote calling contests so I'm happy to just let those guys go do their thing. However while they are down there I will be at the Cabelas Coyote Classic this weekend down in Billings as a factory rep for FoxPro. Might help out with some of the seminars and will definitely be participating in the Q+A session they have set up. Yes, I do get paid for my time and expenses when I do those things. There is also a very good chance I will show up now and then in some of the Furtakers TV episodes. All those things are fun, but the bottom line, I love just being associated with such a top quality company such as FoxPro. They have their act together and it's a good bunch of people to work with. I'm not seeking fame or fortune, but if I can help FoxPro sell their callers and help their business succeed then I'm a happy camper.

Am very happy for you Troy but I still can't help but laugh when I remember a deer hunt we were on. Glad to see you found something you enjoy and that you are getting some recognition for the hard work you have put in to it.

Bwana I'd hunted predators on and off since I was 16, but big game definitely took over the majority of my adult life until about my last year out in Sidney. I actually enjoy predator hunting now more than any big game hunting. It's more or less hassle free and that is what appeals to me the most. :D

It's probably a lot easier to get landowner permission for coyotes than it is for big game too.

DeputyDog let me put it this way. I can hardly find anywhere on private land to hunt deer anymore. For coyotes I've got over a quarter million private acres I can hunt and get more each year.

That's the way it is around here too. It's very hard to find any private land to deer hunt without paying through the nose for a lease. 20 years ago, I could go just about anywhere to duck or goose hunt, and the landowner didn't have a problem with it as long as I didn't deer hunt or interfere with the deer hunting, but now it's getting very hard to even find places to bird hunt, but just about everyone will let you on the land to take care of the coyotes though.
