I noticed most folks here joined GH in Aug 2012...What's big bang theory here?...Who started this site that I like so much?...Thumper? :coffee

Good question Airbud... It was because the old site was dying for a few reasons so we set this one up to move to. We actually found ourselves all alone on the interwebs since 1997 when we got kicked off another site (now dead) because we couldn't stay on topic. Actually, we could, we just chose not to because because.

So here we are. 18 years later. You're one of us now so don't think about leaving or Jimmy will date your Mom or something.

Seriously, if you go to the homepage, there's a little blurb there with our actual start-up date. The Aug. 2012 date you're seeing is when we changed over to Go-Daddy and built this new site (the old site had problems and was ripping us off financially speaking) ... so everybody has basically the same join date now.
