Alabama vs Michigan in the championship game this year. I'm sick of these 56-54 games with this no passing qbs with their bubble screens and three yd slants. I want an old fashioned slobber knocker 14-10 game like Bo and Bear would have done it.

Not to be a conspiracy theorist or anything, but I thnk a lot of the rule changes and stresses on enforcing certain rules was done to intentionally have higher scoring games. More scores = more excitement and better attendance according to the NCAA and others. They are tryng to do the same thing in baseball. You hide and watch. Pitching was strong this year and scoring was down. We saw a lot of one run games this year, so in the next few years, this clown prince of a commissioner will change the rules to boost scoring. Same thng in NCAA, same thing in MLB same thing in NFL. The marketeers decide what we need to watch.

I don't think it's any kind of conspiracy as the NFL and NCAA have been pretty open that the reasons behind the rule changes are to increase scoring and stop them from getting sued due to injury.

Even though they've had some close games, I wouldn't rule TCU out of the picture either. And Baylor is a juggernaut, even though I can't stand Art Briles. They are dang good this year.

I have no love for Texas teams, regardless of their sexual preference, but I have to go with the home team this time. Especially since Alabama the last few years seems to have been a bit exposed. And but for some dumbassery on the Arkansas sideline, we might have seen them get beat again just this past week.
I'm going with the home team this time. Its that close, IMO.

And, I think folks are giving Ohio State, WAY too much credit....they've got a sugar-titty schedule, this year....they haven't even played a top 25 team, yet....and, the only two mediocre teams they have played, N. Illinois and Indiana, both gave them all they wanted....I would just nearly bet that either #12 Mich. or #7 Mich. State will beat them.
