Pretty common for presidents to do that. I think all presidential shit is immune until they're out of office.

Can't deny that! Seems to come up though at the end of every president's terms. Only it used to be recordings and such and memos instead of email.

I think there's pros and cons to it. I also think when its a grey area, we ought to lean toward the transparency end of it.
