In the Detroit paper today. "'Phenomenal' Cooter too valuable for Lions to let go".

I think as some point we have all done some pretty stupid stuff for some Phenomenal Cooter....
Just saying.

Kind of a Southern thing I guess. Coincidentally, we just had our annual Cooter Festival down here (it's always the last weekend of October). https://www.cooterfestival.com/

It's a versatile word I suppose as well as a nickname ... as in Cooter on The Dukes of Hazard. Cooter grabbed a bottle of cherry juice and took his girlfriend down the the pond to find a cooter, they got drunk as Cooter Brown and he got hisself some cooter! ;)
