Congrats to the Royals. Almost as many Royals fans around these parts as there are Cardinals fans and they've waited a long time. They have some real free agency problems to solve next year and they have a traditionally thin wallet to pay for them. From the looks of things they might be pretty good for a while though!

That's one of the first things you notice when you watch the Royals play, their enthusiasm.

Man, whoever lands Zobrist is going to get a hell of a baseball player. Doubt if KC can afford him. I bet money he ends up a Yankee or a Dodger.

Here's a list of KC contracts. Look at how many stars are free agents this year and next. And even more impressive, look at how low their payroll!
