Ha ha ha! Yeah, it's a hoax. The first clue is, Now8News is a bogus "news" website.

There's another version of the story floating around ... basically the same story with a few altered "facts". Examples: It's a dude instead of a woman ... it was 9 years vs. 7 years ... etc. (same SOS sign in the pic though) :D
