What a cluster fuck. Apparently, they thought we blew it this year because Matt Williams sucked. (After being the Manager of the Year in 2014.) Yet, they value the Manager so little they reportedly offered Black a 1-year deal for $1.6m. He countered and they refused to negotiate and moved onto Baker. :banghead

P.S. Now, they're trying to spin it like Baker was their guy all along. (Is there a "shaking your head ruefully" smiley?)
