Muddy, I wear mine WITHOUT socks! Yankees wear sandals with dark blue or black, nylon, knee socks!

My Teva flip-flops are my every day wear ... I switch to Reebok sandals for semi-formal occasions and Teva's for formal occasions. ;)

Tevas are cool. Here's a pic of a couple buddies of mine. I went out to the airfield for a frigging BBQ and they talked me into making a jump with them. Tevas are about all anybody wears out there (they're both wearing Tevas but the guy on the right has his jump suit extended). All I had was my tennis shoes with me and they loaned me a dorky yellow helmet. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't all that bad. At least the BBQ was good afterward! ;)

Cap, about 20 yrs. ago, wifey bought me a pair of expensive brown sandals.....she said they were the "in-style", and all the guys were wearing them....I said okay, and put them on....I then said, "there, I wore them", and then immediately took them off, and told her I didn't want to hear another word about sandals....a while later, I gave 'em to one of my church buddies who was gonna dress as a shepherd in a Christmas play. ;)

Flip-flops is about all I wear. I just bring the sandals out if I need to dress up. If I need to go formal, I drag out the tennis shoes. (Reeboks or Nikes only)

I can't stand flip flops, but about the only thing I wear in the summer is sandals. I have a pair of good leather ones for dressier stuff and a pair of Chacos for everyday and at the lake. And I don't wear socks either. It just ain't right to wear socks with sandals. If it's formal, I break out the topsiders, no socks of course.

Prolly so, I've worn nothing but Tevas since the 90's I think. They fit well, are comfortable and hold up well, so I never saw a reason to change. I'm too old for change ... that's why I didn't vote for Obama! ;)
