At least for those conferences that aren't decided.
Time was, we (Big 12) were the only major conference with a championship game. And it hurt us a few times because we were playing the best teams in the conference while the rest of the country was done and eating turkey leftovers. Now its just the opposite, and damn if it doesn't hurt us now to not have one. Time to get in step with the rest of the country Big 12!
Looks like if Bama holds serve we'll play them in round 1. Of course that depends on Clempson. Personally, I think North Carolina will beat them. Hell, South Carolina almost showed them up. NC is on a roll. And I don't think the Iowegians can hold serve against Michigan State either. That would move Bama to number 1 and OU to number 2. And prolly Michigan state 3 and who knows who number 4 would be. My bet is that with the Big 10 bias the committee has, they're looking for any excuse to put Ohio State back in there.
That's my prediction. Bama plays Ohio State and Michigan State plays OU in round one.
No sense in prediction who'd win those games. Its more fun just to watch them!
