Been on a deer stand all morning, and only saw a small doe, until a few minutes ago....out walks a dang big non-typical buck with dark antlers that I've never seen here on the farm....had his head to the ground, and walked quickly across a small shooting lane about 150 yds. from me....he never checked up, so impossible to get a shot.
Looked like a bunch of stickers on both sides, and droptine on left antler....about 18-20 inches wide and very heavy body....I mighta got a quick shot off, if I hadn't been working a crossword puzzle. ;)
By the way, 45 down is, what's another name for an Australian parrot???....begins with the letter"L". ;)
