Newspaper and TV talk about "all the ammo" the CA shooter had.
When I look at my supply of trap ammo, some 223's and 22lr along with misc. stuff I have for my different hunting rifles I can come pretty darn close to that number.
Damn, am I a terrorist ??

They sensationalize the crap out of it don't they?

What you own is immaterial. How you use it is the issue.

That's unarguab.le. But it's easier for the "we must do something" crowd to clamor over the former meaningless and ignore the latter important.

Myex wife used to say 'You don't need that', when I'd buy something like a fishing rod or a gun. Like need has anything to do with anything.

Turns out I didn't need her around to tell me shit like that either.

4500 rounds of ammo.

That's 9 bricks of .22 bullets. I know fks who have way more .22 bullets than that....not to mention dozens of other rounds worth.

Appears the media is planting pics in our minds that such things are evil in and of themselves.
