JB has a good friend and hunting partner that does that with a chainsaw. He's brought him here to hunt with us at the farm. We also went to his place when we were up for a visit at Bubbas house. The kids watched him carve a bear with a chainsaw. Really neat.

There is a guy here named Clayton Coss that does some of the damndest things with tree sculptures. He did a kid baseball player from a big pecan my ex-BIL lost in his yard that was awesome.

ps, this isn't the one of the kid, but this one of Mickey Mantle that he did is pretty good too.

Yeah, I thought the cool thing was that he does it with tree stumps that are still rooted. It'd be kind of neat if you lost a tree in your yard. Heck, for the $$$ you'd save by not paying to have it removed, you could probably pay the guy for the sculpture! I'd think the biggest problem would be having the tree growing in the right place to look right.
