Our good friend here in town has her birthday today also. Another New Year's baby! We're having a big get-together on Sunday ... well, I won't be there. I have a colonoscopy on Monday morning, so I'll be camped out on the throne all day Sunday. :(

Oh, I'm over it. A good season for my Sooners. We were hanging tough till our top two running backs got hurt at the start of the third quarter. Well, that and our OC shit his pants and forgot what team we are. Hurt players or not, if you're Oklahoma you don't abandon the rush.

That Clempson QB is pretty damn good too!

Now its on to college BB for me! At least until MLB reports to spring training!

Oh, I have no reason to doubt you ... it's a pretty common name ... you just never mentioned it until recently. The weird part is ... you and I also share the same name. :crazy

AND, it appears we both "robbed the cradle". :D

You and Lynn must be neighbors AirBud. Your addresses are one number off. ;)

^^^^^once a cop always a cop.

I had a cop in Arkansas challenge me on my address once. At the time it was on 96th street north. He said if a town was big enough to have 96 streets he would probably have heard of it.

Go back to sleep Thumper.
One of them lives at 106 and one of them lives at 104.

Airbud, there IS a major difference in our names. Evidently, you go by your middle name instead of your first name (Jim, Jimmy, James). Danny is MUCH more acceptable than Clarence! ;)

And yes, I AM still trying to qualify for a Sr. Noticer Badge.

I've never understood why a monosyllabic five letter name needs to be shortened to a monosyllabic three letter one.

Or replaced with Jimmy?

Right!

James must be too hard for them.

I went by Jimmy as a kid ... Jim when I got older. Family and REALLY old friends still call me Jimmy. (My grandmother spelled it Jimmie 'til the day she died.)

Never have liked James. The only people who call me James are people who don't know me.

Wanna hear sumpin' crazy? I live on North Cove (it's located on a cove on the lake). When GPS first came out, I'd have FedEx and UPS calling me constantly wanting to know where I'm located as their GPS doesn't register. (my house was built in 1970) The Post Office has my addy listed as North CV (North spelled out and Cove abbreviated!) WTF??? I've met with the Post Master to see about having it changed, but it was like talking to a stump.

So, my house is on North CV ... NOT N. Cove! :crazy

Me, I go by a nickname for my middle name. That way it's easy to keep strangers at bay.
