That sucks. This getting old isn't very much fun. There are too many people I can't even picture getting old, who are dying of "old age". This is the mental image I still have of him (along with Hawkeye). :(

M*A*S*H is one of my favorite movies of all time. You can literally see or hear something different every time you watch it. Especially if you listen to the announcer over the camp intercom.

I loved the series, but the movie is awesome. I still get a chuckle everytime I think of Spearchucker Jones. And of course Jawbreaker the dentist.
Was JoAnna Pflug hot or what?

They used to film the show not far from my house when I lived in California and I'd drive by there often. The property was owned by 20th Century Fox and there were adjoining areas owned by Ronald Reagan (he had a ranch there) and another area owned by Paramount Pictures and a bunch was also owned by Bob Hope. There was ALWAYS filming of some sort going on around there. I remember Fox sold (or donated?) the property they owned and it's now part of Malibu Creek State Park. Some of the old MASH set is still there I think, including some of the vehicles.
