I didn't buy one. I bought 5! ONE of which is, of course, the winner. That's 3 more than I've bought...in the last, well, EVER.

Nice knowing you poor folks! I'll think about you from time to time!

Haha....I don't play, but wifey had 5 tickets....she buys her tickets, when we go to Chictot because MS doesn't have a lottery.

I understand that they draw from 69 white balls and 26 red balls....she had ONE white number from all 5 tickets. ;)

As usual ... I saved my money. So, essentially, youse dufes "lost" on the lottery and I won! ;)

I've bought one ticket in my life. Years ago, I dreamed I played the lottery and won (forgot the number, something like $56M ??). The next day I watched the news and they said the lottery was about to be drawn and it would be worth an estimated $56M !! I pay absolutely NO attention to the lottery and have no clue how it even works, but I thought that was just too big of a coinky-dink to ignore. I went down to the local convenience store and bought a $1 ticket. Actually, I had to ask the clerk HOW to buy a ticket and she asked if I had numbers I wanted to play or did I want the computer to pick the numbers? Since the numbers were probably an important part of my dream I didn't remember, I chose the computer pick. I lost a dollar that night. It was the first dollar I lost on the lottery, and so far, the ONLY dollar I've ever lost. :(

My wife and two of our friends each put $20 in the kitty and we walked away with a cool $12.

Of course that was all reinvested in tomorrow night's drawing. Bet we don't win a single penny off of that one which is why I never play to begin with but what mamma wants...;)

I buy about 5 or 6 tickets a year, only when the numbers get stupid big.
It just doesn't seem it's worth $2 when the Jackpot is only 40 million.:huh

Always get a chuckle out of folks who won't buy a ticket when the payout is ONLY 40-50 mill. More than enough for this cowboy!

Heck, to look at it that way, where would one draw the line? $1,000,000? $500,000? $250,000? ANY of those would be nice to have, but you'd be buying tickets every week. I have a friend like that in town. He gets all antsy toward the end of the run if he hasn't bought his tickets yet. (I think he spends $5-$10/week) He won $250 a couple months ago and you'd have thought he hit the jackpot. I told him it's not much consolation when he buys $1000 worth of tickets to "win" $250!

I think they mostly enjoy the experience of winning...
