We got some "needed" rain and some fairly gusty winds in the morning, then blue-bird skies by early afternoon. The local nasty stuff was Southwest (below Tampa) and quite a ways farther South of us got hammered also. Bright and sunny today but "winter weather" came in behind the storms. It's not supposed to get above the low-60's today. Lynn was bundled up like an Eskimo leaving for work this morning with seat heater on high and heater blasting. She freezes anytime it gets below the high 70's. I'm still in the usual shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops. I love it when it gets to be a bit "chilly" as the a/c won't even kick in today! I love it when that spinner thingy slows down to a crawl on the electric meter! ;)

well we celebrate REL/MLK day today. In the case of my racist self I'm grilling lemon pepper wings and sirloin along with some roasted veggies in honor of Robert E. Lee

I feel like he would approve.

#3 and his family along with two other families are on Anna Maria Island this week.
Storm was pretty strong there, had some minor flooding and heavy winds.
Even though it's cool for you, it's summer temps for them.

Thanks dufebutts! Just been takin' it easy today ... nothing special except for the birthday meal Lynn's makin' for me tonight. Gonna celebrate for a few days this weekend, so I'm restin' up. Estate sales Friday, head out Saturday morning for Ft. Lauderdale and have lunch at one of my most favoritist restaurants (Fogo de Chão), then on to Miami for a few days. Will be headed back home Monday afternoon. As far as the number of birthdays ... I've started countin' backwards as of last year. ;)
