My son Chris and I decided to visit a heated crappie dock on nearby Claremore Lake. The fishing is slow but the company is good. Caught two so far you could read a newspaper through. Beats being indoors at the house on a 20 degree day though.

There's a few of these scattered around the area lakes here. Mostly what you find is a bunch of regulars who try their best to hide what they're catchng them on and love to visit. Kind of an interesting deal if you want to just wet a hook and its colder than a well diggers butt.
