I've not felt pride like I have when it comes to that kid. Not pride that I did such an amazing job with her because honestly, I think I just got lucky.

Pride for knowing her as well as I do and that she loves me as much as I love her.

That is awesome! You guys with grown kids probably already know this. But, the coolest thing is when your kids start getting a little older and start being great people to hang around with.

I was just thinking the exact same thing when my son and I were out goofing off at the crappie dock Monday. It does make it all worthwhile.
