This is something we don't see around here very often. Since naming winter storms is now apparently a thing, I'm lobbying for "Snowzilla". As the latest GFS model has a potential 30" bullseye right on top of me, I don't think "Jonah" is going to get it done.

Snowmageddon is taken. We had that one with our 30 incher.

Snowapalooza isn't taken I don't think.

Lynn actually forced me to turn the heater on last night. I did it ... but wasn't happy about it. :(

I've got whiskey, firewood and an appointment to get some new tires on my truck. Anything else I should stock up on?

Then he'd end up at the pecker doctor worried about why it turned orange.

He'd have to get a PACT test.

2+ feet is the latest hysteria. I got new tires. We have a Rubicon and the kids will be all gone.

One bad thing is my girl LOVES her some Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. I scored us tickets for their show months ago. Pretty sure Garth ain't coming during a blizzard.

Is it just me or do any of you dufes feel compelled to drive in winter storms? I can't help it. Gotta go out and have a looky-loo.

Len, lots of people are that way. That's why I'm so busy working wrecks when the snow hits. Everyone just has to go out to see how bad it really is.

I'm very careful and don't drive like an asshole. I enjoy helping people as well so I've pulled more than a few people out of ditches or helped them get home, etc.

Back when I was in my 20's there weren't many 4WD vehicle around. I used to volunteer to shuttle hospital personnel to and from work which was pretty fun too.

Between my truck and my ATV, I'll be out driving all over. I still love me some sledding, too!

I have a couple friends that are total weather nerds. They tell me the European models usually kick our models butt and explain it using a bunch of words that I don't understand because I've stopped listening to how nerdy they are :-)

Back in high school I worked at a grocery store. It's amazing how many people also buy ice cream along with the milk, bread, and eggs when a snow storm is coming.

That stuff flies off the shelves here when we get flurries!

In that case, you'll need to double up on the groceries ... ESPECIALLY the ice cream! :D

Well, in that case, I'd recommend Sour Diesel and some Blue Dream edibles.

I'd prefer Tahoe OG or some Ghost Train Haze ... but I wouldn't mind trying a bit of that Sour D or better yet, Triple D if'n ya' gots any! (it's kinda my birfday ya' know?). ;)

I don't do edibles ... I had a bad experience with brownies once. Well, actually it may have been a GOOD experience, depends on how ya' look at it. Put it this way, I had to take the NEXT day off work. :D

Ummm, that was the early 70's and they didn't come with directions. Besides, my wife made 'em and she tended to be a bit heavy handed with the Thai Stick.

How 'bout a nice recipe book? :D
