Went fishing on the White and Norfolk rivers over the last few days. Ate too much, drank too much and had a ball doing it. Sunday we caught 16 Browns and 25 rainbows. Monday was much harder, the trolling motor croaked on us and they were running a ton of water so it hard fishing but we managed about 15 rainbows.

I caught my biggest brown ever.6538

Oh and to top it off on the way home and we stopped and ate at a casino, on the way out I dropped a $20 into a $2 slot machine and won $545. I promptly cashed out and took my winnings so basically my trip was free.

I saw that thumper and wondered if it was cooler advertising or personal identification, (like a mechanic shirt patch) ;) :D

They are great coolers, I have had 5 of them.

I don't know about their coolers, but I bought one of their travel mugs and it's worth every penny. I'll fill it with coffee at 7:30 and still be drinking warm coffee at lunch time. It keeps stuff colder even longer. I've had ice last for 12 hour road trip even after pouring a couple of room temperature sodas in it along the way.

Still too pricey for me. I'm hoping they come down in price some day.

I told a buddy a mutual friend had one with this recommendation.. "He says if you don't fan the lid it will keep ice for 7 days"... and my buddy asks, "What the hell do I want with week-old ice?" ;)

Actually, we normally go through 5-7 bags of ice at Turkey camp - pretty much all of it just melts. Buddy pre-cooled his Yeti and put in two bags of ice.. We never opened the second bag (though it did melt about half in 5 days) and that was fanning the lid a bunch. They're cashy - but they do work.

Thanks LJ, Barry as far as the coolers go I get them at wholesale though a friend and even though the mark up is substantial even at wholesale they aren't cheap. I don't think I would have ever bought one at full price but knowing how the perform now I think I would if I had to.

As for the mugs.......Takes me about 3 minutes to drink a regular sized, iced drink, of any kind. Why would I want it to last longer than that? Coffee, maybe can see, but not iced drinks.

I too have several yeti coolers and have for years. They are worth every dime. I gave about 6 of those cooler cups away at Christmas. They are wonderful! Cheryl takes a drink in ice every morning to work and drinks out of it all day. Never seen anything like it.

Im like that too. However, DW and her kids will get a drink and sip of it for hours, then left the half drunk bottle/can somewhere for someone to pick up and trash....:AR
