Fishing for Sanity

I am completely convinced that fishing a couple times of month is the only way I can maintain my sanity anymore. Lets just say last therapy session. Between my pard and myself we caught 6 burbot ling, 5 rainbow trout, and 1 brown trout. For reasons I will not go into (don't want to make a Thump post) my life is extremely stressful and methinks I need to increase my therapy sessions to more than a couple times a month. :)

We didn't keep everything we caught, but just enough for a good meal or two. Good thing my camo didn't match or we may not have had good luck.

Getting outdoors in winter is a real bonus. And good for the soul too! Glad to see you enjoying it!

And yep, I bet cleaning one of those buggers is fun. You have to knock 'em in the head first?

A gent who works for me called last night and said he wouldn't be in this morning as a crew was supposed to be coming to put in new garage doors for him but if they didn't show he was going fishing. A friend of his was out yesterday and caught three northerns so my employee figured he needed to go fishing too. The three northerns were 10, 15, and 28 pounds! Now that had to have been fun pulling that BIG boy through an ice hole!!
