On your Stradic. Is the C14 worth the exra money? I've never had one fail, and I've caught fish on my 1000 series reels that made the whole reel flex. So I was just wondering. Is it stiffer, or what? Runs about $20-30 bucks more looks like. I can't tell yat's there's any other difference other than the material the body is made of.

Barry, JB has a CI4 if you ask him nice like I bet he would bring it over for you to see. I know you can drive to BPS but I like to actually see how they handle on a rod not that little plastic display handle.

Yeah, I do like it $30 bucks better. It's a little lighter (at least in my mind it feels like it) and I like the handle better. They both have great build quality. As soon as I got my 2500 series and fished with it a couple times I ordered the 1500 for my smaller rig.
