You guys want to know something funny? This is the first time in my adult life that the issues I care most about have been discussed in an election cycle. And in both political parties.

The reaction of both the political elite and their captive constituencies has been hilarious. To me anyway. They just hate to admit that the free ride may be at an end.

Trump is an obnoxious jackass. But when such a man can become a front-runner merely by stating the obvious on immigration and trade it gives me hope. Hope that maybe neoliberal economics is on its way out.
