How rude...
I think I'm in a mid life crisis as all I think about the last couple months is NOT doing what I currently do and goin into business for muhself.

Several ideas swirling around in my head.

None of which I have the money to fund or the balls to do.

But a guy can dream!

That looks like a fine way to spend a beautiful early spring day. I think I may have to hate you for a little while.

I just got back from the big annual strawberry festival we have here. My ol' hunting buddy from Ohio is down here for the week and we had a big ol' BBQ at my buddy's place over by the festival. The Mayor (my old boss) was in the parade and stopped by afterwards. Last year I shared my tailgate with he and the Chief of Police, but this year he had some big mucky-muck gathering to attend. BUT, before he left, he gave us all tickets to the concert this evening. Prob. is, by that time my back was shot, so I headed back to the house (with a big ol' doggy bag of ribs and pulled pork of course!). ;)

You go to a Strawberry festival and come home with BBQ not strawberries. What's up with that? I'm gonna start calling you the food finder. Every time I talk to you, you got a big bunch of Ribs or BBQ around.

Youse guys bite me!

You'll like this Cappy. My buddy who did the cooking took a road trip last summer. He's retired but his wife still works. He talked her into taking a leave of absence and they hit the road. They headed out with another buddy of his and were on the road for 3-months and he did a ton of fishing along the way! If they were biting, he'd stay for a few days and fish. They ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska and he caught a ton of salmon, had it processed and shipped back here. He also did some halibut fishing, but said those things really kicked his butt! Anyway, when he got back home, he'd covered a total of 14,167 miles!

Oh, did I mention he's 77 years old and did it on a motorcycle??!! Now that's cool. :D

Ha! He said at one point he got heavy into the salmon and finally asked his buddy if he had a clue what the limit was. His buddy said he thinks it's 10 (not sure if that was 5-each or 10-each). They were having so much fun, they'd lost count. They counted and found they had 40 fish! They took them into town and a processor cleaned 'em and packaged them for $1 each! (That's the salmon on top of the trailer in the 4th pic.) They took them to a shipper who packed them in ice packs and shipped them to a buddy down here to hold until they got back. ;)

What's wrong with two tents? :) I wouldn't sleep with your snoring butt anydamnway. How long do the batteries last on your CPAP machine? :D

Actually, they stayed in quite a few motels along the way ... but did some camping here and there ... especially if it was an area where the fish were biting.

That reminds me of an old joke.

If you and a friend go camping and you wake up with your pants around your ankles and a sore asshole, are you going to tell anyone?

No?

Wanna go camping?
