The ACC tournament is in DC this year and I just had four tickets to Thursday night's games drop in my lap. Hot Damn! I've never been and I doubt my Wolfpack will still be alive. But, it should still be a bunch of fun. I love this time of year: Conference tourney's this week, March Madness starts the following week and that rolls right into Opening Day of baseball and I've already got tickets for the Nats Home Opener. Oh yeah, Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend. What's not to like?

Hell, we've got 2.5. We had so many we let a two-time silver slugger SS walk via free agency this past winter.

What the Hell is going on?
I wait all week to see The Big Bang and they got some sorta squeakin' tennis shoe crap on. This is stupid. Who in their right mind would cancel Big Bang for Basketball???
I would not watch it if it was the LAST thing on, and I have a good friend that was a pro player for years and played about every game. Never saw him play not once.

That wouldn't be a certain Hoosier who became a Tarheel would it?

The two games I saw last night weren't terribly exciting. Both UVa and MIami totally outclassed the Tech's.

Iowa State - Oklahoma was a barn burner. Hield had 39 points and I think Niang had 32.

Tonight we have West Va and that's always a tough draw. And TCU didn't take any air out of 'em either.

Win or lose, you'll know you've been to war when you play the Mountaineers. I love watching those Huggy teams play.

They love to press that's for sure. They're physicality reminds me of some of the Kelvin Sampson teams at OU. Unfortunately, the way games are called these says its harder and harder to be successful with that formula.

He gets a lot of mileage out of his players that others don't though. They improved the Big 12, both in basketball and football when they joined the conference.

I dunno about the couch burning though.

Seems like you have to have a few people evicted to really facilitate a good couch burning regimen. Good fit for west virginny.

Arkansas runs the feared 40 minutes of WTH. Top three players in state went to Florida, Kentucky and Minnesota.
Minnesota ? Mike can't recruit Arkansas how's he gonna get talent elsewhere?

40 minutes of hell is dead, no hand checking and it doesn't translate into large NBA salaries. Time to get with the program Mike.

Yes I imagine it would be. MOF I felt the same thing for the minute or two it took to see that the shot didn't count. About the wildest finish I've ever seen. Crazy!

Heartbreaker for OU last night!

Horrible officiating. We got mugged by West Va. and worzse yet by officials who seem to have swallowed their whistles.

We should have had our guy shooting foul shots to win it. There were two guys with hands and arms all over him and no call.

If you're playing WVa and the refs let them play, you've got trouble. No surprise, but the Big 10 final reminds me of a football game. The refs are trying to reign it in. But, these guys are going to be trading haymakers if this keeps up.

That was Big 10 basketball at its best. It just came out with the wrong results in my opinion. I think the Boilers have a chance to go a ways in the tourney this year.
