Or a bust ... ya' just never know.

There's a gal who is a partner in an estate sale company on the east coast and we've always gotten along extremely well. I even helped her once when her partner got sick at the last minute and she was afraid to spend the day alone with a bunch of cash, so I stuck around all day and gave her a hand. She just called and said she has a sale coming up in my area this weekend and asked if I wanted to meet her there on Thursday to have a look around. She said the place is over 40,000 square feet and has tons of crap. She said the guy who had it filed bankruptcy and simply walked away from EVERYTHING ... just locked the door and left! She said there are 2-3 rooms she hasn't even opened yet and supposedly they have been closed off for 15-20 years! She has no clue what's in there.

My buddy's gonna be here at 6:00 am on Thursday and we're gonna take a ride over there to "help her out" and maybe lighten her load a bit. :D

Do any o'youse "aficionados" recognize anything of potential value here? Junk? Or can you tell? They all look alike to me.

That looks like what could be a Fender Stratocaster electric and possibly a Martin acoustic. They could be worth something. The acoustic is ugly, but it'd be interesting to know the hostory. You don't see many painted acoustic Martins so i might be a signature model. If it is, its worth something.
People who own those particular guitars would be your upper end guitar people.

Well cool! Maybe I'll take a closer look ... although I still prolly won't know persactly what I'll be looking at. Hopefully they have some model numbers or some sort of identifying tags on 'em someplace.

Get a picture of the headstock of the electric. If it's a Strat, depending on when it was made it could be worth a shitload of money.
