The forecast was for overcast early turning to spotty sunshine and no wind. So Birddog and and I confabbed early early this morning and went a-fishin' up at Oolagah lake.
And then, Birddog jinxed our mojo by catching this gaspergoo that he swore was a state record bass. Note the big bite some comerant must have taken out of his back in his early years.
Needless to say it turned windy, started raining, and the temp dropped to 48. We toughed it out for a few hours and decided to call it a day.
Some friggn' weathermen we have here I'll tell ya.
