"Well, I never" as my Mom says.

I guess this means they'll offer some kind of combined ticket at the convention?

Amazing how deep the bullshit is getting in this race.

Just give it up and let the voters decide.

The "establishment" is pulling out all the stops to try to stop Trump. All it does for me is it makes me want to vote for Trump even more, if nothing else, just for spite.

IMHO, voters are not gonna like two-timing sheeit like that, at all....especially, if Trump runs the table....Trump oughta thank both of them for doing it because, as I see it, it's gonna push some voters his way.

Even after his campaign manager tried to assert this past week that his whole shtick is an act to dupe the I'll-informed into voting for him?

The whole thing is stupid. Who is going to vote for a candidate who is mathematically unable to win the nomination?

Ever since Reagan left office, I've done nothing but vote for the "lesser of two evils" instead of someone I'd actually want in office. What other choice is there other than not voting at all? Right now, a vote for Trump would be a vote for the lesser of FIVE evils. What'cha gonna do?

P.S. I put Cruz and Kasich just one small step above Hillary and the Socialist. I agree with P-hole ... the whole thing is stupid.

I would vote for Hillary or Bernie before I would kasich. On good morning America he all but come out and said the voters are too dumb to choose a president that it should be left to the politicians. I wish we could deport the arrogant bastard to North Korea.

So, you won't vote for Kasich because he "all but came out" and said we're stupid. But, you'll vote for Trump even after he's come right out and said the whole basis of his campaign is that we're stupid?

Yup. Trump not a politician. Yet. He might call you a dumbass but it's because he thinks you're a dumbass not because the party says you're a dumbass.

On a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being the best choice for President ... I'd give Hillary a minus 10. I'd give that nut-bag Sanders a .5, Kasich a 1, Cruz a 1.5 and Trump a 3.

What'cha gonna do?

Okay, I'll just raise my hand and admit I'm a dumbass regardless what the fuck I do. It's the kind of fuckery that we've allowed these assholes to do to us.

We need to seriously throw a bunch of fuckng bums out the door.

And that's all the bums. Including the Paul Ryans of the world.

Finally, something we can all agree on. I'm starting now by only voting for someone who I actually want to see President even if it's a third party or a write in. As long as we keep playing their game, they're going to keep crapping on us.

that's where I started, and have come full circle back to the same place.

I know Bucky always talked about "writing in" Mickey Mouse or whomever, but for the life of me, I've never been able to understand why anybody would waste their time doing something goofy like that. Let me get this straight ... you take time off work (or out of your day), pay for your vehicle gas/depreciation, fight traffic driving to the polling place, look for parking, go through the process of checking in/voting ... then reverse the process to go back to work or home ... just so you can "write in" Charles Manson or Popeye? I understand "the principle of the thing", but personally, I've never been able to understand such foolishness. Wasting a vote is one thing ... but wouldn't simply "not voting" make a bit more sense? I don't get it.

That said, I have to admit that I've only voted for the lesser of two evils since Reagan, but it's more whom I'd "rather" see in office than someone I actually "want" to see in office.

The system is morally bankrupt and I refuse to play along any more. Not voting just isn't an option for me. But, continuing to vote for the lesser of two evils will just get us more of the same. I'm not likely to write in Thump. I may vote Libertarian or write in one of the candidates that dropped out.

It is interesting the different approaches. Neither is wrong. Myownself, I don't value the person's chance for winnng above whether I can stand them or not.

I'm much like Jim in a lot of my political views - (oh kheerist.. did I say that out loud?).. ;) Point is, I'm all over the board in my views.. and like Thump, I have been voting for the lesser of two evils for years. I am now almost entirely a "one issue" voter, the 2nd Amendment.. But after watch the shenanigans that are being orchestrated by the Republican establishment to see that Hillary is elected rather than the Donald - I am seriously wondering if the Republican Party any longer reflects my views. Problem is - I *know* the Democratic Party doesn't. I think we need a Bull Moose Party ..... or "something"..

I'm with ya on the Bull Moose Party! That could almost happen this election.
