We went with a couple of friends to see Graham Nash tonight. He plays nowadays with just a lead guitar player on stage (Shane Fontayne is pretty damn good in his own right).
In short the show was awesome. Lots of good old tunes from his days with the Hollies and right up through the incarnations CSN with and without the Y. We had awesome seats in row 2.

Never seen so many old guys with pony tails.

Nash is still the show,an and musician of the bunch!

Bite me Deppity ... I can't help it if I "know" folks! (I'm a Cappy wannabe) ;)

Good show ain't it P-hole? I just want to know how he stays skinny. ;)

Did he mention Joni Mitchell? I think he's had a "thing" for her all these years. Hey butthead, I guess you didn't look for my buddy Crook while you were there, huh?

Sounds like I would have enjoyed it too!

Thump, tell us the story of when you gave David Crosby a reach around while Graham watched!

He only mentioned Joni Mitchell about a hundred times. introduced 'Our House' with a Joni story.

Personally, I have always thought that Joni Mitchell caused the breakup of what was potentially the best band in rock and roll, and that includes the Beatles: The Hollies.
She was the Yoko Ono of the Hollies. And that's a crying shame. The Hollies were on of the best.

Its always about the puss. (not pus, Hombre)

Yeppers, but love does strange things. One of my all-time favorite songs is Percy Sledge's "When A Man Loves A Woman" ...

When a man loves a woman
Can't keep his mind on nothing else
He'll trade the world
For the good thing he's found
If she's bad he can't see it
She can do no wrong
Turn his back on his best friend
If he put her down

When a man loves a woman
Spend his very last dime
Trying to hold on to what he needs
He'd give up all his comfort
Sleep out in the rain
If she said that's the way it ought to be

Well, this man loves a woman
I gave you everything I had
Trying to hold on to your precious love
Baby, please don't treat me bad

When a man loves a woman
Down deep in his soul
She can bring him such misery
If she plays him for a fool
He's the last one to know
Loving eyes can't ever see

When a man loves a woman
He can do no wrong
He can never own some other girl
Yes when a man loves a woman
I know exactly how he feels
'Cause baby, baby, baby, you're my world

When a man loves a woman

I don't think it was her. I think it was mostly Stills drug problems for the most part. As for Joni, I think it was actually Rita Coolidge that caused the break-up rift.
