Ok, listen up you bunch'a misfits.

Cheri's (Sunshine) dog Lamor has taken a turn for the worse and is very ill. She's with him at the vet right now and Lamor is on an IV about to go under the knife to have his gall bladder removed. She doesn't post here anymore, but she reads daily, and she's asking for you guys to pray for Lamor ... that he will come through the surgery ok and make a full recovery. She's a bit of a basket case right now and needs a little support from her friends.

Having just had to put down my dog last week, I hope things turn out for the best as those pups sure have a way of getting into a person's heart.

My sister just had to put her 16 year old lab down yesterday. Doggies sure can leave a big hole in our lives. Hope he gets better Sunshine!

Here's the update. I'll just cut & paste her text to me.

Lamor was in surgery for 2 1/2 hours. Vet said when he opened him up he was afraid to touch the gall bladder because it was the size of a softball and so stretched thin he was afraid it was going to burst in his hands.

He is in intensive care and no guarantee he is well for two weeks. Tigger is going nuts looking for him and whined all the way home in the crate behind my seat.
I've cried so much my eyes look like I've drank a gallon of whiskey. I'm emotionally drained. :(

Now he has to get through recovery and no infections. 50/50 recovery. $5,500 :(
But he would be dead tomorrow if I didn't try to save him. :(
