He's on CNN right now getting some airplay. Good long interview but the video and audio is poorly produced. I thnk the guy would be a vote getter if he got legit coverage. What they're doing now isn't legit for a bonafide nominee of a bonafide party on the ballot in all fifty states should get. They could have at least asked him in to the studio and done it in prime time.

The guy has some good points too.

Gary Johnson? Is he any kin to Big White Johnson? ;)

And cousin to Evan Rood.

Seriously, he's polling at ten per cent!

Absent some significant change, he's got my vote.

Here's a good interv iew and a good description of Libertarian politics.

And IMO this guy is much closer to what I've thought of as libertarian than Rand Paul. Although, I like a lot of Rand Paul's ideas.

I'm with CD. He's got great positions and ideas I wish could see the light of day. I watched the libertarian presidential debate and it was absolutely pathetic. They had a former CEO of McAfee on their running as a Libertarian candidate. The guy is beyond insane, literally. It kind of brought the whole show down to a level it didn't deserve.

The first Libertarian I remember was Lyndon LaRouche. He made a lot of common sense, used the word 'fraud' in his speeches, and was kind of the Ben Carson of his day. Lots of people thought his stuff made sense but he was the last guy in the world you'd vote for. Turns out though, he was kind of a fraud hisownself.

So yeah, the Libertarians attract nutbags. But there's some good ones in there too. and they for sure haven't cornered the market on nutbags.
