Spent the last few days packing and gathering.... Heading up to beautiful Bath County VA tomorrow at noon.
Arrival time approximately 6pm tomorrow and we will have 5 nights at Lake Moomaw.

This is my obligatory post.

I have posted something about this trip every year since 2004 (perhaps 2005, but I'm pretty sure 2004 because my soon to be 18 year old was not quite 6 years old).

Kinda selfishly thankful he doesn't fully know wtf he wants to do... So he will be going to Community College for at least a year. So he won't be flying the nest just yet.

Doesn't seem possible. But all you old folks already know that feeling.

Extremely shitty reception out there. Unless there has been a big cell tower added in the past 12 months in that area, I'll be lucky to even be able to send a text.
